If you don’t have a Duchess I’d recommend not running Souldrinker and instead focus on their def based champs with useful kits such as Nazana/Infernal Baroness paired with some form of cc gear set.Ī good list of legos made this fairly easy, Gorgorab was leveled exclusively for stage 21 as the boss hits insanely hard. Alure is great for boss stages for turn meter control, Umbral Enchantress taunt/block buffs is amazing all throughout but especially on 21 due to the triple Valk wave. If you have Duchess you’ve probably already cleared this faction, she’s like Arbiter but better in FW. Robar is excellent for cc and def down but bloodfeather would probably still be better for boss stages. Seer can be built straight tank and still destroys every wave due to the A3 max HP scaling, insane champion for this but could probably be changed for Zargala. Stack Shaman in HP gear and put Vrask relentless to keep everyone healthy. Tank and spank your way through to stage 21 and switch to offensive gears to beat the bosses health swap DPS check. Basher is excellent for all stages but I pulled Brakus as I hit stage 21 so decided to swap him in. Norog was great for AoE block debuffs but definitely not necessary. Ursine Ironhide (60) - Evil Eye / 75% booked MVPīlack bear is incredible here, controls mobs extremely well and brings useful debuffs only issue is he needs books to remove the RNG on his debuffs/turn meter abilities, Steelskull in relentless cycles his cooldowns well and keeps everyone alive/buffed. Relentless set on Steelskull to cycle cooldowns Build Broadmaw high HP so he doesn’t get targeted, tank your way through all stages. Dracomorph is definitely not required and could be subbed with Jarang/Basilisk. Unfortunately I didn’t fuse Skull Lord but the Jareg/Rhazin combo makes this crypt fairly easy. Shatterbones would be a much better pick here. Stun set bellower is amazing for secondary control and debuffs, Gurgoh is pretty terrible in FW because of his massive cooldowns. Having 2x Maneaters makes the entire crypt a joke, run them fast with accuracy and they control every wave on their own. A lot of good epics and even rares here and all of their legos are viable through every stage. Having a Valk trivializes this entire faction but with High Khatun, Valla, Scyl and Kantra being offered to everyone this has become the 2nd easiest faction. Venus just sped up the process but could throw in Fenax for speed or bring in supports such as Mistress of Hymns, Romero or Adriel to help with survivability Rosh, Martyr or Nic would definitely make this easier the majority of Epics are fairly lackluster. They chain revive on death, def up, atk+speed down and lock down anyone you want with A1 decrease turn meter. Surprisingly easy once I started stacking Lightsworns, they destroy every stage in this faction fairly easily. Shield set on Venus (used for Seer speed runs, not required) Although Cillian is sometimes frustrating due to his skills being very RNG he was still the most useful champ here, the stuns/cooldown lockout made every stage of this crypt much easier.īy far the easiest faction, an Arbiter with A3/A4 booked runs through this with pretty much any team. Lower stages everyone was built mostly for survivability but switched to full damage to burn the 21 boss. Final boss was a tank and spank with Cillian controlling the Rowan minion. Not much to say about this faction, if you have Sethalia, Minaya or Raglin it would be a lot easier. Order of difficulty - Hardest to easiest (my opinion)ĭwarves->Knight Revenant->Undead Hordes->Demonspawn->Dark Elves->Skinwalkers->Banner Lords->Ogryn->Sacred Order->Orcs->Lizardmen->Barbarians->High ElvesĬhampion format: Name (Lvl) - Masteries - Books I rate shield sets very highly for FW, not as helpful on the boss stages but can really help with getting those 3 stars on stages with more difficult waves Warmaster can also help in DPS race scenarios Although masteries will help they are not required for anyone, I take evil eye if a boss stage gives me trouble and I need the extra turn meter control. The further you progress the less effective it will be to try and nuke your way through everything, it’s far more effective to build decent defensive stats and high HP on champions that you don’t want to be targeted (dedicated DPS/Revivers) AoE A1 champions with stun/provoke sets are amazing for wave control, but not compulsory for the majority of factions While the gear requirement for FW isn’t as high as some expect, some boss stages will require you gear appropriately to counter. The boss stages have mechanics such as cc, ignore def, hp swap etc. My ingame name is U$D Venuler, I’m usually in Ch3 or feel free to pm me on discord if you have any specific questions After recently completing Faction Wars I decided to do a writeup detailing the teams/gear sets I used.
